Tragedy struck in the Pamgarh police station area of Janjgir-Champa, as a scooter collided with a truck, leading to the deaths of two young men. The accident occurred near Kuthara Nava Talab. Sumit Kashyap, aged 18, and Prahlad Kashyap, aged 19, were riding their scooter when they crashed into a truck parked on the roadside. They were en route to collect friends for a rehearsal for a Ganesh festival performance. Following the crash, both were rushed to the district hospital in Janjgir by ambulance, but they succumbed to their injuries. The local community displayed their anger at the scene, releasing the air from the truck’s tires. Police have taken control of the truck and are managing the situation. The bodies will be examined in a post-mortem before being given to their families.
