Raipur, Today, the training program on digital productivity enhancement and AI integration was inaugurated at Triple-IT, Nawa Raipur, which was organized by the state government to train the officers and employees posted in the ministry in the latest technologies and applications of IT and AI, to increase the speed of administrative work. The chief guest of the program was Mr. Avinash Champawat, Secretary, General Administration Department, special guest Mr. Rahul Bhagat, Secretary, Good Governance and Convergence Department and Chief Minister, and the program was presided over by Professor Dr. OP Vyas, Director, Triple-IT.
In the training program, detailed discussions were held with the participating officers and employees on promoting digital productivity to strengthen responsible administration. On the first day, the participants were given training on advanced features of MS Word, Google Docs, Excel and Google Sheets along with the use of AI and data modeling.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Avinash Champawat, Secretary, General Administration Department, said that skill upgradation is a continuous process, it enhances both personality and work culture, he described AI-based training as a milestone in the capacity building of employees and urged the participants to take full advantage of this opportunity.
Mr. Rahul Bhagat, Secretary, Good Governance and Convergence Department, while expressing his views on the important role of technology in citizen-centric governance, emphasized the role of AI tools in increasing government efficiency. Mr. Bhagat, giving the example of the e-office system, said that the effective use of technology can make governance more transparent and responsible.
Triple-IT Director Professor Dr. OP Vyas, while addressing the workshop, said that we have to be aware and alert for the smart use of AI. Starting with the practical application of AI, the habit of continuous learning about it will make us more friendly with AI. We have to use AI while keeping the data secure, for which we have to avoid giving sensitive information to AI so that it is not misused after going into the public domain.
At the same time, Prof. K. G. Srinivas assured that this training will be of high quality and result-oriented. In the first phase of this training, more than 100 officers and employees of General Administration, Home and other departments participated, which will start from September 24 and will continue till October 25, 2025.
