A heartbreaking incident has occurred in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Chhattisgarh. A man lost his life after being hit by a train, with his body remaining on the railway tracks for hours after the event. The deceased has been identified as Babulal Kol. The GRPF responded to the scene.
The location of the incident is the Khairjiti railway track, near the Chhattisgarh-MP border. The reason for the accident is still under investigation by the Gaurela police. Babulal Kol had returned from Andhra Pradesh after working in a factory. On Monday morning, the police were informed by people who found his body on the railway tracks.
Details indicate that Babulal Kol, a resident of Khairjiti village, was a laborer in a factory in Andhra Pradesh. He was returning from work when his body was discovered on the railway tracks. In the accident, the victim’s head was severed and found away from the tracks. Police are investigating the case. The Gaurela police are investigating both possible causes – homicide and suicide. A grim aspect of the incident is that numerous trains passed over the body while it was on the track.
Gaurela police station in-charge, Anjana Kerketta, stated that preliminary investigation indicates the man might have taken his own life due to stress. The Gaurela police are actively investigating and have sent the body for a post-mortem examination after the panchnama.
