Under this scheme, a 1-kilowatt solar plant installation qualifies for a subsidy of 30 thousand rupees from the central government and 15 thousand rupees from the state government, totaling 45 thousand rupees. For a 2-kilowatt plant, the subsidy is 60 thousand from the center and 30 thousand from the state. Installing a 3-kilowatt solar panel earns a subsidy of 78 thousand rupees from the central government and 30 thousand rupees from the state, totaling 1 lakh 8 thousand rupees.
