The district administration in Pendra has adopted a stern approach concerning the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana within the Pendra development block. Secretary Rajkumar Sharma of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended due to his negligence and lack of diligence. Furthermore, a show-cause notice has been issued to Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant of the same panchayat.
Instructions have also been issued to immediately transfer the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat.
This action follows the directives of District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaidya, who has unequivocally stated that negligence in government programs will not be overlooked. He has cautioned all panchayat employees that strict action will be taken against those who impede the progress of vital schemes like the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
This firm stance by the administration has caused a stir among the panchayats, and the remaining panchayats have been instructed to ensure the timely and transparent implementation of the schemes.
