Raipur, June 19, 25 / On the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board has included Sharda Dham, a famous religious and natural tourist destination located on the inter-state border of Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand, in the list of marked tourist destinations of the state. The Tourism Board has issued a circular for this. With this decision of the board, this tourist destination will get a new identity. The board will be able to make a budget available for the development of basic facilities for tourists along with its promotion.

In Sharda Dham, a unique confluence of faith and knowledge acquisition of Maa Saraswati, the giver of knowledge, is seen. Here, special arrangements have been made for coaching for the needy children of Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand states to stay and study. Rajkumar Singh, the President of Shardadham Committee, said that free arrangements have been made for the children to stay, eat and their coaching in this special coaching institution. The committee meets the expenses of the children’s stay and coaching with the help of devotees.
Sharda Dham, a famous religious tourist destination, is full of natural beauty, located in Duldula block, about 30 kilometers away from the district headquarters Jashpur. This famous temple of Mata Saraswati is surrounded by dense forests on all sides. The sweet sound of the Girma river nearby attracts the minds of the devotees coming here for darshan. The President of the Management Committee said that this grand temple of Maa Saraswati, the giver of knowledge, has been completely prepared by shramdaan. The devotees of both the states have built this temple of the mother by sweating. The design of the temple building has been prepared on the lines of the famous Lachlagarh Hanuman temple of Jharkhand.
Jashpur is being developed as a tourism hub
It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai is working rapidly towards developing the tourism industry in the Vananchal area Jashpur. Ten crore rupees have been sanctioned under the Bharat Darshan Yojana for the development of Mayali Nature Camp located in Kunkuri block. Madhveshwar Mahadev, located here, has recently been recognized by the Golden Book of World Records as the world’s largest natural Shivling. Along with this, CM Vishnu Dev Sai, taking a big step towards connecting the district to the tourism map, has announced the construction of a bridge on the lines of Lakshman Jhula in Kotebiradham located in Pharsabhar block. Along with this, work is being done rapidly to develop tourist places like Deshdekha, Ranidah in the district. Chief Minister Sai’s aim is to develop green industries in the district and provide employment to the people of the district.
