The Chhattisgarh Sampark Kranti, en route from Hazrat Nizamuddin to Durg, became the subject of a bomb threat, leading to a heightened state of alert. The threat was communicated to the Delhi control room, initiating a rapid response. Police forces, including GRP and RPF, along with the bomb squad, were quickly mobilized to Jhansi station. The train was immediately evacuated upon arrival. During a search operation, three unattended compartments were identified in coach B-1. The police questioned the coach assistant. After a comprehensive examination of the train and its compartments, no explosive devices or suspicious objects were found. The train was allowed to continue its journey approximately an hour later, at 12:30 AM. Platform numbers 2 and 3 were cleared and all shops and stalls were closed. The bomb disposal team examined the unclaimed compartments, but nothing dangerous was found.
