College students across all districts will have poetry-story competitions, prizes will be awarded, and district winners will be included in state-level competitions. Students will submit original stories and poems until 30 December. Raipur, 11 December 2025/ In New Raipur, next month the literary festival will be organized in all districts of the first province for college students with story and poetry competitions. In both competitions, district-level winners will also receive prizes. District winners will be included in state-level competitions, and the best story and poem will be awarded at the Raipur Literary Festival. Nodal officers are being appointed at the district level for this competition. Interested students can submit their original poems and stories to the district nodal officer’s office by 30 December 2025. Stories and poems received after 30 December will not be included in the competition. The rich literary heritage of the province will be disseminated to people and to increase youth participation in literary writing, the Raipur Literary Festival will be organized in New Raipur from 23 to 25 January 2026. Under the literary festival, the first prize in the college-level competitions for poems and stories will be 5,100 rupees, the second prize will be 3,100 rupees, and the third prize will be 1,500 rupees. Likewise, in both competitions, three incentive prizes of 1,000 rupees each will also be given. District-level first-prize stories and poems will be included in the state-level competition. In the state competition, the first prize will be 21,000 rupees, the second prize will be 11,000 rupees, and the third prize will be 7,000 rupees. Likewise, in both competitions, three incentive prizes of 5,100 rupees each will also be given at the state level. Poems to be included in the competition must be original, unpublished, typed with at least eight verses. Likewise, stories should be original, unpublished, typed within 1,200 words. Participants must be students of a college or university and must not be older than 40 years. Participants must also attach a college introduction letter or principal’s certificate. The decision of the adjudicating panel will be final and binding. Prizes will be announced in January 2026 and rewarded participants will be honored at the Raipur Literary Festival on 23, 24, 25 January 2026. When submitting the entry, the competition’s beginning and envelope should have the words “Young Hindi Poetry-Story Writing Competition” written. A collection of rewarded poems and stories will be published and released at the Raipur Literary Festival stage.
