Now no primary, secondary and higher secondary school in the state is without teachers
The rationalization process is a successful effort to shape the future of children: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai
Raipur, June 11, 2025/ The rationalization process started with the aim of making the education system better and inclusive in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has yielded very positive results. Out of a total of 453 teacher-less schools in the state, teachers have been deployed in 447 schools. From the new academic session starting from June 16 in the state, the bells will ring in these schools, classes will be held and the voices of children’s studies will resonate. A new hope has arisen with the posting of teachers in teacher-less schools. Parents and children are very happy with the news of teachers coming to the villages. Along with expressing gratitude to the government and administration, the parents have once again started nurturing the hope of a better future for the children.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has said that education is the top priority of our government. Many schools in the state were in a teacher-less situation, especially in remote areas. Therefore, we have implemented the rationalization process with complete transparency and it has been ensured that teachers are deployed wherever needed. The posting of teachers in 100% of the schools in the state is proof of the success of this process. This is not just an administrative process, but a successful effort in the direction of shaping the future of our children.
According to information received from the Education Department, under the rationalization process, regular teachers have been posted in 357 primary schools and 30 secondary schools which were without teachers. Out of 66 high schools in the state without teachers, the counseling process is still going on for posting teachers in 4 high schools of Sukma district and 2 high schools of Narayanpur district, while posting of teachers has been completed in 60 teacher-less high schools.
According to the information received from the District Education Officer, Narayanpur, out of 3 teacher-less high schools in the district, 3 teachers have been appointed in Sulega Dhaurai High School through rationalization. Counseling will be held on June 12 for the posting of teachers in Kanhargaon and Sonpur High Schools. Similarly, Chintalnar, Gumma, Ganjenar and Kanjipani High Schools of Sukma district are still without teachers even after the rationalization process has been completed at the district level. The district administration hopes for the posting of teachers in these high schools through counseling to be held at the state level. The District Education Officer Sukma said that the study-teaching was already being managed here through the pre-secondary schools and guest teachers operating in the campuses of the above four high schools. As of now, if we leave aside 4 high schools of Sukma district and only 2 high schools of Bijapur district (while the posting of teachers in these 6 high schools is still under process), then there is no such school in the state from primary school to higher secondary school, which is without teachers.
It is noteworthy that no higher secondary school in the state was without teachers. Only 4 higher secondary schools were single-teacher, in which more than one teacher has been appointed under rationalization. Under rationalization, appointment of subject-wise lecturers in sufficient numbers in high schools and higher secondary schools has been done on priority basis, so that children can get a better opportunity for regular study-teaching.
There were 5672 primary schools with single teachers in the state, out of which after rationalization, posting of two or more teachers has been completed in 4465 schools. Only 1207 primary schools are left with single teachers in the state. Similarly, out of 211 single-teacher pre-secondary schools, two or more teachers have been posted in 204 schools, now only 7 secondary schools are left with single teachers in the state. The Education Department is engaged in making arrangements to deploy more teachers in these schools as well. Similarly, out of 49 single-teacher high schools in the state, posting of a sufficient number of teachers has been completed in 48 high schools. As of today, only one high school is left with a single teacher in the state.
