The district administration in Pendra has taken a tough stance regarding the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana implementation. Rajkumar Sharma, the secretary of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat, has been suspended for exhibiting negligence and a lack of diligence. Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant from the same panchayat, has been served with a show cause notice. Furthermore, the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat has been ordered to be transferred immediately. This action was prompted by the instructions of District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaidh. He has reiterated that negligence concerning government schemes will not be tolerated. He further warned all panchayat staff, stating that strict action will be taken against those who hinder the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
