Chief Minister Shri Sai attended various Garba festivals in Raipur city, took blessings after seeing Mata Rani
Raipur, September 30, 2025 / Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai attended various Garba ceremonies in the capital Raipur last night on the auspicious occasion of Navratri. He wished for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of the state by visiting Mata Rani. On this occasion, Raipur city was seen soaked in the colors of Garba and the atmosphere was filled with the joy of the festival everywhere.
Chief Minister Shri Sai participated in “Jhankaro 2025” organized by Shri Gujarati Lohana Mahajan Samaj at Shri Kachch Kadwa Patidar Samaj, Aashirwad Bhawan, “Rangilo Raas 2025” at the Indoor Stadium and “Raas Garba Utsav” at Omaya Park. In these events, the social workers warmly welcomed the Chief Minister by wearing traditional Kachch pagdi and applying tilak. The presence of the Chief Minister in the tunes of Garba and the colorful atmosphere infused enthusiasm and energy in the public.
Extending his best wishes to the people of the state on Shardiya Navratri, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Navratri is a festival to increase enthusiasm, excitement and goodwill. This festival strengthens social harmony and infuses energy in the masses. He said that in our Chhattisgarh, the Goddess is worshiped in various forms and with the blessings of Matri Shakti, the state is continuously moving forward on the path of progress.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Mata Danteshwari in Dantewada, Maa Angarmoti and Bilaimata in Dhamtari, Maa Mahamaya in Sarguja and Ratanpur, Maa Bamleshwari in Dongargarh are present in the state in many forms. The spiritual significance of all these Shaktipeeths not only strengthens the faith of the state but also provides a unique identity to Chhattisgarh as a cultural heritage.
He said that on the first day of Navratri itself, the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji implemented GST reforms and gave a new impetus to the economic activities of the country. This reform will not only make trade easier but will also give direct benefits to consumers. The Chief Minister said that today, through ‘Savings Festival’, there is a remarkable saving of money in the pockets of common citizens and it is infusing new energy into the economy.
Chief Minister Shri Sai appealed to the people to give priority to the purchase of Swadeshi goods whenever they go to the market. Swadeshi not only strengthens the economic condition of the country but also creates opportunities for local production and self-employment. He said that adopting Swadeshi is a big step towards realizing the goal of Atmanirbhar Bharat and this will be the basis of the country’s prosperity.
On this occasion, Raipur MP Shri Brijmohan Agarwal, MLA Shri Motilal Sahu, Shri Purandar Mishra, Shri Sunil Soni, MLA Shri Anuj Sharma, former MLA Shri Devji Bhai Patel, local public representatives, Chairman of Mandal Commission along with senior citizens and dignitaries of Kachch Kadwa Patidar Samaj and Shri Gujarati Lohana Mahajan Samaj were present in large numbers.
