Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan and the 8th National Nutrition Month from Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and Union Minister of Women and Child Development Smt. Annapurna Devi also joined the program virtually with thousands of women from the Indira Gandhi Agricultural University in Raipur, the capital. During this time, the Chief Minister inspected various stalls of the Women and Child Development Department and the Health Department and released the Nutrition Calendar.
Launching the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the journey of a developed India is based on four pillars: women power, youth power, the poor and farmers, and this campaign will give new strength to this goal. The Prime Minister said that more than one lakh health camps will be organized across the country from September 17 to October 2, in which free check-ups and medicines for diseases like TB, anemia and cancer will be available. He appealed to mothers and sisters to जरूर जरूर visit these camps so that no woman has to face a serious illness due to lack of information.
The Prime Minister said that women power is the main basis of the nation and the health of the mother will empower the society along with the family. He mentioned the achievements of the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana and the Nutrition Campaign and said that assistance of Rs 19,000 crore has been given to more than 4.5 crore women so far. He further said that the Sickle Cell Anemia Mission was launched from Shahdol to protect the tribal community. More than 5 crore screenings have been completed so far and 1 crore cards have been issued. He said that the coming generations are becoming safe from this campaign. The Prime Minister, highlighting the poor and farmers at the center of the schemes, said that every scheme of the government, from free ration to Ayushman card, is to change the life of the poor. He said that 25 crore people have come out of poverty and this is Modi’s guarantee.
Sharing information about PM Mitra Park and PM Vishwakarma Yojana, Prime Minister Modi said that this will create lakhs of jobs and give a new identity to small artisans. On the occasion of festivals, he called for adopting Swadeshi and said, “Whatever you buy, it should be Swadeshi, so that the money stays in the country and the pace of development is accelerated.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that the Prime Minister’s vision and leadership have given India a new identity on the world stage. The schemes started under his leadership, considering women power, youth power, the poor and farmers as the four pillars of a developed India, are the strong foundation of the bright future of the country. He said that free check-ups and medicines for women’s diseases like TB, anemia and cancer will be provided in the health camps to be held from September 17 to October 2. This is a historic step towards the health protection of the mother power. The Chief Minister, mentioning the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Nutrition Campaign and Sickle Cell Anemia Mission, said that the lives of crores of women and tribal brothers and sisters have been saved. Similarly, PM Mitra Park and PM Vishwakarma Yojana are providing employment and recognition to lakhs of youth and artisans.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that as a result of the Prime Minister’s policies, more than 25 crore people have come out of poverty, which is proof of his sensitive leadership. Shri Sai said that the Prime Minister’s call for adopting Swadeshi on the occasion of festivals is inspiring for every Indian. He said that these schemes, which started on the Prime Minister’s birthday, are the solid foundation of the resolve of a developed India.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai released the Nutrition Month calendar on the occasion of the launch of the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan at the Krishi Mandapam in Raipur today. He also honored meritorious students under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign. During this time, he inspected the health camps and stalls of the Women and Child Development Department specially organized on the occasion of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s birthday and took information. Especially nutrition seminars, Hamar Swasth Laika, Ready-to-Eat, Chhattisgarh’s Millets, Mission Shakti, Mission Vatsalya, Bal Vivah Mukt Abhiyan, mental health, TB check-up, ENT, sickle cell check-up, adolescent health, maternal health focused stalls were seen and discussed with visitors about the benefits being received from the government schemes.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai flagged off the Nutrition Rath on the occasion of the launch of the 8th National Nutrition Month. All these vehicles will visit the districts of the state and provide information related to nutrition and health awareness to mothers and sisters. During this time, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and Union Minister of Women and Child Development Smt. Annapurna Devi planted sandalwood saplings in the Indira Gandhi Agricultural University campus under the campaign named Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade, Skill Development Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb, MP Shri Brijmohan Agarwal, MLA Shri Rajesh Munat, MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, MLA Shri Sunil Soni were also present in the program.
