During a speech in Bilaspur, Mohan Bhagwat, the leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), declared that true dharma is exemplified by treating everyone with a sense of belonging and promoting harmony among all forms of diversity. Speaking at the ‘Lokhitkari Kashinath – Smarika Vimochan Samaroh’ in Chhattisgarh, Bhagwat commented on the common belief that individuals cannot achieve greatness like Shivaji Maharaj. He encouraged the audience to focus on self-improvement and fostering happiness within their families and communities. The event, held at the Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) auditorium, also included the unveiling of a commemorative volume dedicated to the late Kashinath Gore, an RSS official. Bhagwat stressed that Gore’s actions and values should be remembered and passed on to future generations. He clarified that genuine ‘dharma’ entails viewing everyone with a sense of belonging and advancing diversity in a balanced way. Bhagwat underscored the significant role of volunteers in strengthening the Sangh and expanding its reach. He highlighted the dedication of ordinary volunteers, whose commitment has driven the RSS forward despite various obstacles. Bhagwat added that the RSS’s current standing is a result of the dedication of its volunteers, promoting a sense of belonging throughout the Hindu community.
