A distressing incident unfolded when four minor girls disappeared after visiting Mahadev Ghat in Durg. The girls were subsequently found at the Nagpur Railway Station. After the families of the girls reported them missing, the police initiated an investigation. The investigation, led by CSP Satyaprakash Tiwari, revealed the girls had boarded a train to Mumbai. Police investigations showed that the girls had befriended a man on Instagram who said he was from Mumbai. The man had allegedly lured the girls with offers of a trip and a chance to be in films. Working with the Nagpur police, the girls were rescued. The girls are now being taken back to Durg, where they will be questioned further. Police are looking into the man’s involvement and potential accomplices. Authorities are also urging parents to supervise their children’s social media use to avoid similar incidents. The investigation continues with a focus on the Mumbai link.
