A horrific incident took place in Jogidipa village, located within the Fingeshwar police station area of Gariaband district, Chhattisgarh, on Saturday. Kamlesh Nande, a son with a history of substance abuse, murdered his mother after a domestic dispute. The argument was centered around the preparation of a meal involving fish. The enraged son attacked his mother, using a wooden stick, and inflicted fatal injuries. The mother died at the scene, sending shockwaves through the village. The police were immediately informed and arrived at the scene, arresting the suspect. A forensic team is also present, investigating the crime scene. Nande’s long-term struggle with alcohol and drug addiction had previously caused numerous conflicts within the family and the community. The police are currently questioning Nande and conducting a thorough investigation into the incident.
