A man in Chhattisgarh, struggling with debt, orchestrated a plan to fake his death, leading to a 12-day search operation by police. Hemant Chandravanshi, from Kawardha, left his belongings at the Gangrel Dam, making it appear he had drowned. The police launched a search, but after tracking his phone, they found him hiding in Delhi. Chandravanshi confessed that he created the hoax to escape his financial problems. He had visited the dam with friends and then disappeared after sending them away. The police are now investigating the case, and Chandravanshi is back in Dhamtari for further questioning. Legal action is expected.
