Jashpur, June 21, 25/Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today gave a big gift to Kunkuri. He performed the groundbreaking ceremony of the 50-bed Maternal Child Hospital to be built at Ginabahar at a cost of Rs 8.77 crore and the Block Public Health Unit to be prepared at a cost of Rs 50 lakh.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that today another link is being added to the development in the field of health in the district. The construction of this hospital will greatly benefit the mothers, sisters and children of this area. Along with Kunkuri, the people of Farsa Bahar, Kansabel and Duldula area will also benefit from this. He further said that we are continuously working for the expansion of health facilities. Construction of a 200-bed hospital is going on in Jashpur. Its tender has been issued. Provision has been made to open a medical college here in this budget. Nursing and physiotherapy colleges will be opened here. We are providing affordable treatment through Ayushman cards and generic medicine shops. The benefit of the Vay Vandan Yojana will be available to the elderly of all sections, this is an important scheme for health security. The facility of providing the honorarium amount of Mitatinis online has been started. So that they can get paid on time.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that we are working to fulfill Modi’s guarantee. Construction of PM houses is going on rapidly. Fulfilling the promise made to the farmers, we are buying 21 quintals of paddy. We are giving Rs 3100 to the farmers for paddy. We are giving Rs 5500 per standard bag for tendu leaves. From tomorrow, the program of Charan Paduka distribution will start in the state from the auspicious hands of the Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, we are providing Rs 1,000 every month with the aim of economic empowerment of more than 70 lakh mothers and sisters. Also, Rs 10,000 has been provided to 5 lakh 60 thousand landless agricultural laborers. We are working to open CSC centers in the Panchayats. The villagers will get the benefit of banking facilities here, they will not have to go far to withdraw and deposit money from the bank. We are working with the target of opening this CSC center in all the panchayats by the next Panchayati Raj Diwas. Continuous reforms are being done for public facilities. New revolutions have been brought in land registration. Now, along with the registration of land, mutation will also take place. Also, fake registration will be stopped.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that today is the day of World Yoga Day. I request you all to definitely include yoga in your daily routine. Yoga is essential for a healthy body and to balance the mind along with physical cleanliness.

The availability of specialist doctors will facilitate the treatment of serious diseases of children. This will be a big relief for the villagers around. At the same time, the construction of the Block Public Health Unit to be prepared at a cost of Rs 50 lakh will also benefit the lab testing facility in the tribal-dominated area. The Maternal Child Hospital and Block Public Health Unit will prove to be a strong step towards safe motherhood and healthy childhood for the people of Kunkuri and surrounding areas.
