The industrial city of Korba is set to be the venue for a significant political and administrative event. The Madhya Kshetra Adivasi Vikas Pradhikaran will hold an important meeting at the Collectorate Auditorium in Korba today, commencing at 11 AM, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. This gathering is of great significance, drawing participation from numerous state ministers, two deputy chief ministers, members of the authority, and specially invited guests.
Present at the meeting will be Deputy CMs Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, along with Excise Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan, Finance Minister OP Chaudhary, Tribal Development Minister Guru Khushwant, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Education Minister Gajendra Yadav, and Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap. Moreover, other government ministers, a total of 51 members, and 24 special invitees will be present to share their insights, suggestions, and any concerns.
The authority oversees development in districts including Korba, Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, Gariaband, Dhamtari, Mahasamund, Rajnandgaon, Baloda Bazar-Bhatapara, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, Balod, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, Kabirdham, Bilaspur, Raigarh, and Sakti. The meeting will focus on reviewing ongoing development projects in these districts and discussing new initiatives and proposals.
The district administration has undertaken thorough preparations to ensure the meeting’s smooth and secure conduct. Collector Ajit Vasant and Superintendent of Police Siddharth Tiwari reviewed the arrangements with officials. Enhanced infrastructure has been put in place, including parking, barricading, water supply, electricity, road management, and access controls at the Collectorate. Departmental stalls will be available, offering a direct channel for beneficiaries to communicate with the Chief Minister.
