Police in Korba, Chhattisgarh, are investigating the murder of a man in Mongra Basti. The victim, Ashwini Pathak (40), was found dead with stab wounds. The incident occurred near the Bhusaripara sub-station. According to preliminary investigations, the man was killed with a knife. Police, along with the dog squad and forensic experts, arrived at the scene to collect evidence. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination. Family members have reported that Ashwini left with Manoj Bakkal, who is also a resident of the area. Police are currently searching for Bakkal and are examining all potential leads, including CCTV footage from the area.
