The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has taken action against Ajay Kumar Tembhure, the Executive Engineer of the Electrical and Mechanical Department. He was apprehended while accepting a bribe of 2 lakh rupees. The incident occurred in Jagdalpur, where the engineer was caught taking the bribe. The bribe was sought from a contractor, with the promise of preferential treatment in securing a contract before the tender process. The ACB team took action at the engineer’s official residence in Saket Colony. The ACB is currently investigating the matter and questioning the accused.
