The investigation into the murder of a young man in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, has revealed a complex story, with the arrested minor girl providing a detailed account to the police. The victim was from Kishanganj, Bihar, and the accused is from Bilaspur. The police took the girl into custody following the incident, which occurred on a Sunday night. When the girl returned home after the murder, her mother noticed bloodstains, prompting a confession. The mother, in shock, contacted the Koni police station in Bilaspur.
In her statement, the girl described meeting Saddam on Instagram three years earlier. He had several accounts, and she connected with him through one of them. Their communication evolved into several meetings in Raipur. The girl revealed that Saddam had secretly recorded a compromising video of her.
She said that Saddam used the video to control and manipulate her, threatening to share it unless she complied with his demands. She also stated that he physically abused her when she refused. She became pregnant during this period. On September 27th, she traveled from Bilaspur to Raipur by train, informing Saddam of her arrival. At the station, Saddam assaulted her.
After this incident, they rented a room at the Avon Lodge. The next day, they traveled to Abhanpur, but returned to the lodge later that evening. During the night, the young man consumed alcohol, and they both went to sleep. While Saddam slept, the girl stabbed him repeatedly in the neck with a knife, killing him instantly.
Following the murder, the girl locked the lodge room and left for Bilaspur by train. She took Saddam’s phone, deleted the data, and threw the phone and room key from the train. She then went home and confessed to her mother, which led to the case’s unraveling.
