The southwest monsoon of 2025 has become very active across India. Numerous states are witnessing intense rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds due to the monsoon’s influence. The meteorological department has issued alerts to the public and administrations in the affected states, advising them to be vigilant. The monsoon is projected to advance into the remaining areas of West UP, along with Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan within the next 24 hours.
The southwest monsoon is yet to fully establish itself in Delhi-NCR. Despite Delhi experiencing all the conducive conditions like clouds, humidity, and wind, there has been no rainfall in the capital. However, light rain is anticipated in the capital today because of a western disturbance. The period from the 27th to the 29th, especially the 28th, might witness heightened rainfall activity in the capital. The upcoming week holds the potential for significant rainfall.
