Raipur, May 26, 2025/Chhattisgarh is set to take a major step in the country’s digital landscape. Technology company ESDS Software Solution Ltd has proposed an investment of over ₹600 crore to establish a state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence-based data center in Raipur, which was presented to Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai.
During a meeting with the Chief Minister at the Chhattisgarh Sadan in New Delhi, the company’s Chairman, Mr. Piyush Somani, and Vice President, Mr. Lokesh Sharma, said that this center will not only boost Chhattisgarh but also the digital future of entire India. This proposal will be a concrete step towards making Chhattisgarh a leading state in the field of AI, cloud technology, cyber security, and digital storage.
Welcoming the proposal, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said, “This investment will prove to be a milestone in bringing the spirit of Digital India to the ground in Chhattisgarh. The government will provide all possible assistance so that this project takes shape as soon as possible.”
This initiative of ESDS will not only make Chhattisgarh a technology hub but will also create new opportunities for high-level employment for the youth. This center will strengthen the state’s IT ecosystem and will be a big step towards digital self-reliance. On this occasion, the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Subodh Singh, and the Investment Commissioner of Chhattisgarh in New Delhi, Ritu Sen, were also present.
