A peace committee meeting in Raipur has led to the implementation of a ban on DJs and fireworks during the Ganesh Visarjan and Eid-Milad-un-Nabi celebrations. ADM Umashankar Bande and ASP Lakhan Patle engaged in conversations with community leaders at the meeting, which was also attended by ASP Traffic I. Prashant Shukla and other departmental officials.
Increased police presence is scheduled for key locations during the Ganesh Visarjan and Eid-Milad-un-Nabi festivities. Law enforcement has issued a strong warning, emphasizing that severe action will be taken against individuals found disrupting public order or attempting to incite unrest.
ASP Lakhan Patle confirmed that procession timings will be strictly observed. The use of DJs will be completely prohibited. Fireworks are also banned during this year’s processions. Traffic routes have been designed to facilitate traffic management. In addition, CCTV cameras will be used to monitor the proceedings.
