A fatal accident occurred on the Katghora-Ambikapur National Highway in Chhattisgarh on Saturday night, involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle. One person died at the scene, and two others sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
The incident took place in the Tanaakhar region, under the jurisdiction of the Katghora police station. The high-speed pickup truck collided with the motorcycle between 11 PM and 12 AM on Saturday. The collision resulted in the death of one youth, and left two others with serious injuries.
Dial 112 was contacted to assist the injured, who were taken to Katghora Hospital. They were later transferred to the district hospital after receiving preliminary medical attention. Police were swift to respond and arrested the driver of the pickup truck.
