A resident of Jashpur, RamSায় Ram, lost his life following an assault by his brother-in-law. The event transpired when RamSায় Ram visited his wife’s parents’ house to take her home. A dispute arose, leading to a physical altercation where Satyam Ram kicked RamSায় Ram. RamSায় Ram, who lived in the Lokhandi area, had an earlier disagreement with his wife, causing her to move to her parents’ residence in Bandipa. On August 21st, when he attempted to bring her back, a confrontation with Satyam Ram ended in tragedy. RamSায় Ram sustained fatal injuries and passed away the next day, with the post-mortem citing a ruptured intestine as the cause. The police have arrested Satyam Ram, charging him with murder. He has admitted to the crime and is in judicial custody.
