A shocking case of homicide has come to light in the Durg district of Chhattisgarh. Two sons allegedly murdered their mother’s lover in Ahivara Ward 3. The deceased has been identified as Balwinder, also known as Bunti. The police have taken custody of the body and sent it for a post-mortem examination.
The sons claimed Balwinder was in a live-in relationship with their mother. The woman had previously separated from her husband and subsequently began a relationship with Balwinder. The sons strongly opposed this arrangement, leading to frequent conflicts within the household.
The incident occurred late Tuesday night. The victim, Balwinder, regularly visited the woman’s house, causing further tension. The sons also suspected Balwinder of being involved with another woman, which added to the existing family discord.
On Tuesday night, the situation escalated dramatically. The sons, Trilochan and Bhupesh, attacked Balwinder. Trilochan used a shovel, while Bhupesh used a stick. Balwinder died at the scene. Upon receiving the information, the Nandini police arrived at the scene and transported the body to the district hospital for a post-mortem.
The police detained the two sons based on their initial findings. During questioning, both admitted to the crime. Police officials indicate that the incident appears to stem from a domestic dispute, the mother’s live-in relationship, and suspicions surrounding Balwinder. A murder investigation is underway, and the suspects are being questioned.
