The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has conducted a raid in Akaltara, Janjgir-Champa, Chhattisgarh, targeting coal businessman Jaychand Kosal. The EOW team, consisting of 12 members, raided Kosal’s residence at Ambedkar Chowk in Akaltara. The team is currently occupied with the examination of documents. The unexpected raid early in the morning caused a stir in the region. Jaychand’s father is a Grade-1 assistant at the Janjgir Collectorate, who formerly served as a Grade-2 clerk in the Raipur secretariat during the Congress government, and is presently a Grade-1 assistant.
