A devastating incident in Khairi Pangri village, within the Mohla district of Chhattisgarh, has resulted in the tragic death of a family of three due to electrocution. The victims included a husband, wife, and their son. The news has brought immense sorrow to the village. Authorities were alerted and swiftly responded, sending the bodies for a post-mortem examination.
The incident took place on Monday evening, between 6 and 7 PM. The Boga family, residents of Pagri village, had gone to a farm outside the village. Suratram Boga, aged 62, was electrocuted at the farm. In a desperate attempt to save his father, his son Ruplal Boga also suffered an electric shock. Following the failure of the father and son to return home, Bhagabati Bai, the wife and mother, arrived at the scene. In her effort to rescue them, she too was electrocuted, leading to the untimely deaths of all three.
The village is overwhelmed with grief. The family and community members are deeply affected. The police have launched an investigation into the event, after sending the deceased for post-mortem examination.
