Narayanpur, “Cyber Awareness Campaign” is being run by the Cyber Police team under community policing.
🔷 Information was given regarding avoiding cybercrimes by going to Pariyana Free Coaching cum Residential School, Garanji.
🔷 Information was given regarding avoiding online fraud, education loan fraud, fake call credit card fraud and various types of cyber crimes.
🔷 Questions and answers were done by the students present in the school regarding cyber crime.
🟪 Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police, Mr. Robinson Gudiya (IPS), Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Akshay Kumar Sabdra (IPS), Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Sushil Kumar Nayak (RPS), on the one hand, unprecedented success is being achieved in Naxal operations. On the other hand, the Cyber “Awareness” campaign is also being conducted in the direction of community policing. In this context, Deputy Superintendent of Police Dr. Prashant Dewangan, Inspector Vineet Dubey and his team and Cyber Volunteers reached Pariyana Free Coaching cum Residential School Garanji on 22.08.2025 and gave information regarding cyber fraud.
🟪 By putting up banners, posters and projectors related to cyber awareness in the school, the students present in the school and all the teaching staff were made aware by giving information about the current cyber frauds like- Kisan Credit Card fraud, Online Loan fraud, Payment App fraud, Social Media fraud and various types of cyber fraud, along with this, the cyber team interacted with the students regarding cyber fraud. Everyone was made aware of creating awareness about cyber fraud in their surrounding areas.
🟪 In case of any kind of cyber fraud, they were informed about registering a complaint by calling the helpline number 1930 or registering an online complaint on www.cybercrime.gov.in.
🟪 School Superintendent Mr. Balram Sahu thanked the cyber team and requested to conduct awareness classes in the school from time to time in view of the growing cyber problem.
