Violence has once again struck Dantewada district in Chhattisgarh as Naxals carried out a brutal murder of a local resident. Bandi Korram, a resident of Nilawaya village, was killed with a sharp weapon in an incident that occurred in the Aranpur police station area. Reports indicate that a group of Naxals arrived at the village late at night and summoned Korram from his home before attacking him. The community is now in a state of fear and shock. Upon receiving the information, the police immediately reached the location and launched an investigation. The police have taken the deceased’s body for a post-mortem. Tragically, the family has suffered before, with the Naxals having murdered Korram’s son, Harendra Korram, about four years earlier.
