The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has taken decisive action in the ongoing investigation into the Chhattisgarh liquor scam. On Sunday, the EOW team raided the homes of liquor traders in Raipur, Bilaspur, and Durg. These raids are part of a broader effort to uncover the details of the alleged financial irregularities. A total of 10 locations across the state were targeted in the operation.
The investigation is focused on the alleged use of counterfeit holograms on liquor bottles to evade taxes, causing significant losses to the state’s revenue department. The EOW is currently reviewing the documents and evidence collected during the raids.
