The discussions centered on potential investment opportunities within Chhattisgarh, with a specific focus on technology-based initiatives. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of bolstering the state’s digital ecosystem, considering NTT’s expertise in cloud computing and cybersecurity.
A dinner hosted by the Indian Ambassador to Japan, Sibi George, provided an opportunity to discuss fostering stronger economic ties between Indo-Pacific countries via trade and industry. Emphasis was placed on achieving economic stability, securing trade, maintaining environmental balance, and promoting industrial growth.
CM Sai highlighted the potential for a strong industrial partnership, leveraging Japan’s advanced technology with India’s skilled workforce. He also expressed a desire to encourage cultural exchange and promote Chhattisgarh as a prime tourism destination for Japanese visitors.
