A distressing incident of an apparent suicide has occurred in Jagdalpur district. The husband of a Sarpanch was found dead near the SP office. The deceased, identified as Kamlochan Nag, was the husband of the Sarpanch of the Kawapal Panchayat. The police arrived on the scene, secured the body for a post-mortem, and have launched an investigation. The incident is being handled by the Kotwali police station.
According to available information, the body of Kamlochan Nag was discovered this morning at a tea stall located in front of the SP office, causing consternation throughout the locality. The police have stated that preliminary investigations suggest suicide. No suicide note was found at the scene. The police are currently working to determine the cause of the alleged suicide of the Sarpanch’s husband.
