Raigarh, Chhattisgarh – A disturbing development has occurred in Raigarh district with the discovery of the body of Jaypal Singh Sidar, the younger brother of former Congress MLA Chakradhar Singh Sidar. The body was found in a state of significant decomposition.
The body was discovered in a forest in the Lailunga police station area, near the Sisringa temple. The state of the remains indicates that the body had been there for roughly a week. Upon receiving the information, the police and a forensic team arrived at the scene to investigate. The body was identified by family members as Jaypal Singh Sidar, who had been missing since July 7th.
Jaypal Singh Sidar, aged 43, resided in Katkaliya village and worked as the village secretary in Pakhar. He was last seen on July 7th when he left his home in his Swift Dzire car to drop his child at school; he never returned. Extensive searches were conducted following his disappearance, with no success until the discovery of his body.
A missing person report was filed on July 8th, and the police investigation included tracking his mobile phone, which had a last known location in Jashpur. His car had been found near Gerwani-Lakha about a week before the discovery of the body. The police are now investigating the circumstances of his death.
