A heartbreaking incident has shaken the district headquarters of Bijapur. The bodies of a young man and a woman were found hanging from a tree in the Turram forest. Following the discovery, police were notified and, after completing the necessary procedures, sent the bodies for post-mortem analysis, launching an investigation.
The state of the bodies suggests they had been in place for a while. Locals report that the bodies were hanging for a considerable duration. The police are examining the possibility of a love-related incident. A video recovered from a mobile phone is also being analyzed.
After the post-mortem, the bodies were handed over to their families. The deceased girl was a minor and a resident of Jangla. The young man, Shankar Mandavi, was from Turanggur, in the Kondagaon police station area of Bastar. The Bijapur police are fully committed to investigating this tragic case.
