Raipur, October 8, 2025//Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai said that Bastar is changing — now, instead of the smoke of guns and gunpowder, the wind of development and trust is blowing here.
Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that the state government’s “Surrender and Rehabilitation Policy 2025” and humanitarian campaigns like “Puna Margem: Rehabilitation to Rejuvenation” have lit the lamp of hope in the hearts of those who had once strayed onto the path of red terror.
Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that today in Narayanpur district, 16 Maoist cadres have taken the courageous decision to abandon the path of violence and return to the mainstream. A total reward of ₹48 lakh was declared on these surrendered cadres. They have now chosen a new path of peace, education, and a dignified life.
Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that people’s faith in the state government’s policies has increased, and the determination of the security forces has established an atmosphere of development and trust.
Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that in the last 20 months, a total of 1,837 Maoists have left the path of violence and joined the mainstream. This change is a testament to the fact that the “Double Engine Government’s” policies are not only bringing peace but also leading Bastar towards a new era.
Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai said that the state government’s objective is not just to eliminate Naxalism, but to bring the light of development, education, and self-reliance to every village in Bastar.
