Bilaspur:- The Congress has suffered a major setback before the urban body elections in Bilaspur. Two senior party leaders have decided to leave the Congress. Former councilor and MIC member Ajay Yadav and former councilor Laltu Ghosh of Tikrapara ward have resigned from the Congress. He alleges that he is angry with the behavior of city district president Vijay Pandey and neglect in ticket distribution. Along with this, he has also accused the party of evading and taking unfair decisions.
Ajay Yadav and Laltu Ghosh have given many reasons behind saying goodbye to the Congress.
If sources are to be believed, the name of former councilor and MIC member Ajay Yadav of ward number 70 was included in the party panel, but he was not given a B-form. At the same time, former councilor Laltu Ghosh from Tikrapara ward has also resigned after getting angry with not getting tickets and the working style of the party leadership. This is considered a major setback for the Congress, as such a rupture in the electoral atmosphere can prove to be harmful for the party.
