A car accident in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, resulted in a vehicle entering the Shipra River late Saturday. The incident was reported around 8:45 PM, and the body of a policeman has been recovered. The car reportedly went into the river from a bridge. Initial reports from eyewitnesses and police on the scene suggest that there were at least two people in the vehicle – a driver and a passenger in the front seat – with the windows closed. However, this information is yet to be officially verified. SDRF teams are preparing to commence a search operation to locate the car. The vehicle carried law enforcement officials involved in a case, including a station in-charge, an SI, and a female constable. The rescue mission is facing difficulties due to the rain-swollen river.
