Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be inaugurating the new BJP office in Delhi, located on Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg, today. The event will see the presence of central ministers, along with many BJP leaders and thousands of party workers. The foundation stone for the office was laid by BJP National President JP Nadda on June 9, 2023. Separately, Vijay’s party, TVK, has filed a new petition in the Madurai Bench regarding the Karur stampede, requesting a fair probe. A hearing on this petition is set for this afternoon. The Madras High Court had previously cancelled the Sunday evening hearing. Moreover, the weather department has issued a red alert for Palghar, near Mumbai, anticipating heavy rainfall. The district administration has taken precautions by closing all schools and colleges and advising residents to stay indoors unless it is essential to go out.
