A tense situation unfolded in Chennai early this morning after a bomb threat was made against the residence of actor Vijay, who also heads the TVK party. The Chennai Police quickly responded to the threat, which was reported at about 5:20 AM. A bomb disposal unit was sent to the location in Neelankarai to investigate. Following a comprehensive search, the team found no evidence of explosives and determined the threat to be a hoax. Police have registered a case at the Neelankarai police station and are currently investigating the origin of the threat call and the motives behind it.
