Birbhum killings: Calcutta High Court orders CBI probe in TMC chief’s homicide

KOLKATA: The Calcutta High Court on Friday ordered a CBI investigation into the homicide of Trinamool Congress chief Bhadu Sheikh, in obvious retaliation to which 9 individuals have been burnt to demise in West Bengal’s Birbhum district.

The excessive courtroom had earlier ordered a CBI investigation into the killings of the 9 folks at Bogtui village.

Prayers have been made earlier than a division bench presided by Chief Justice Prakash Shrivastava for ordering a CBI probe into the homicide of Bhadu Sheikh as nicely, claiming that the 2 incidents have been interlinked.
