A violent clash erupted in Purnia, Bihar, due to a dispute over land between two parties. The disagreement over the land deal led to the use of arrows, resulting in serious injuries. Reports also indicate that shots were fired during the confrontation. The incident took place in Hanuman Nagar, under the jurisdiction of the Raghuvansh Nagar OP police station. The dispute centered on 35 decimal units of mortgaged land, which caused two people to be injured by arrows. Following the incident, the village was put under heavy police guard and transformed into a secured zone.
The injured individuals were admitted to the hospital. The two victims, who are cousins, were hit by arrows. One was hit in the chest, the other in the stomach, and the doctors removed the arrows. When the police were informed of the incident, they went to the scene, but the alleged perpetrators had already fled. Later the police arrested the accused and sent them to jail. There is a tense atmosphere in the village. The injured are undergoing treatment at Purnia Medical College.
