An accident involving the convoy of Tejashwi Yadav, the former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, occurred in Vaishali district on Saturday. A speeding truck crashed into two vehicles within the convoy near Goraul on the Patna-Muzaffarpur highway. Yadav was taking a break when the accident took place. While he escaped without injury, three of his security personnel sustained injuries and were promptly taken to a local hospital. The truck driver was arrested, and the police are investigating the cause of the accident. The incident has heightened concerns regarding road safety and the protection of political figures in Bihar, especially during late-night travel.
