Bihar’s political scene is currently buzzing with activity following a statement by Tej Pratap Yadav. Yadav, who has been expelled from the Rashtriya Janata Dal, shared information on Wednesday about an alleged plot. He stated that one of five individuals, whom he terms “traitors,” was planning to leave Bihar. He claimed the person, along with their family, had made preparations to depart from Patna Junction. He posed a question on the significance of this planned departure given the upcoming elections, inviting the public and the media to consider its implications.
Tej Pratap Yadav stated his resolve to reveal the identities of all involved, and he urged the media to remain attentive, noting that potential exits could occur from Patna Airport, Patna Junction, or bus stations.
Previously, Tej Pratap Yadav had accused Akash Yadav and others of a conspiracy to damage his political prospects through the distribution of his photo. He insisted that such actions would not affect his political trajectory and that he would continue his work with greater strength. Furthermore, he announced his plans to interact with the public and participate in the elections across the state using his organization, Team Tej Pratap Yadav, and challenged his opponents to face him.
Earlier, he criticized Rahul and Tejashwi Gandhi over the ‘Voter Rights Yatra,’ cautioning Tejashwi Yadav to watch out for “traitors.” This followed his expulsion from the RJD and disownment by his family after a photograph of him with a woman was made public. Subsequently, he declared his intention to run as an independent candidate from Mahua, alleging that certain individuals were conspiring against him.
