A teacher is on the run after allegedly abducting two students in the Rusulpur area of Bhagalpur, Bihar. The incident has prompted a police investigation and search operation. Hariom Yadav, a teacher at Jawaharlal Nehru High School Dhanoura, is accused of absconding with two ninth-grade students. The students’ families have accused Yadav of luring the girls away. The families report that Yadav provided the students with mobile phones and maintained consistent contact. After the parents brought the matter to the school administration, and after being threatened by the teacher, the teacher fled with the students. Police have filed an abduction case and are reviewing CCTV footage. Authorities have pledged to recover the students and apprehend the teacher. The education department has also initiated an investigation, promising to take action. This incident has raised concerns about the lack of adequate security measures to protect students.
