A doctor in Muzaffarpur died by suicide after shooting himself with his father’s gun. The incident occurred in the Kazi Mohammadpur police station area, where the doctor resided. The doctor, Ashutosh Chandra, had recently received his PG exam results and was reportedly distressed after failing. The incident took place in the doctor’s study room on the third floor of the house. He had recently started working at a private hospital on Juran Chhapra Road. After returning from duty, he had breakfast with his grandmother and mother before going to his study room. The sound of the gunshot alerted everyone. Police have seized his mobile and tablet and sent the body for a post-mortem examination.
