Political fervor is intensifying in Bihar as the assembly elections draw near. RJD MLA Munna Yadav has sparked controversy with his statements. At a gathering in the Minapur constituency of Muzaffarpur, the MLA announced that if the Mahagathbandhan government is formed, the bureaucracy would be “crushed.” This declaration has raised eyebrows and generated discussion, particularly concerning its implications for administrative officers.
The MLA’s remarks were made in the context of an event held in the Minapur constituency. He openly threatened administrative officials, and he also criticized the alleged exploitation of Bihar by both criminals and the administration. He declared his intention to eradicate the perceived corruption and lack of accountability.
This is not the first instance of the MLA making controversial comments. Earlier, a video of his went viral on social media, in which he made disparaging remarks against upper castes, stating that the Bahujan community would gain dominance in Bihar and making offensive comments about specific communities. Following the video’s circulation, the MLA offered a clarification, stating that his words had been taken out of context and that he had not intended to offend any particular group.
