A substantial improvement is on the way for those traveling from Patna to Nepal, thanks to the upcoming Vande Bharat Express service. Passengers will enjoy the comfort and luxury of Vande Bharat trains, with the journey beginning from Danapur and continuing through Patliputra Junction and Hajipur. This will cut down travel time considerably, with the trip taking only about eight hours. This will be a welcome development for the people of Bihar, and the Prime Minister is anticipated to inaugurate this new service.
The Vande Bharat train will operate between Danapur and Jogbani. Starting from Jogbani in the morning, the train will arrive in Danapur in the afternoon, after a journey of approximately eight hours. On the return leg, the train will depart from Danapur and arrive in Jogbani at night. Due to the substantial demand and passenger volume on this route, plans are in place to introduce a 16-rake Vande Bharat train.
The train’s route will encompass Danapur to Jogbani, passing through Patliputra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Saharsa, Madhepura, and Purnia. While the specific route details and timings have yet to be released officially, the inauguration is likely to occur during the Prime Minister’s visit to Purnia Airport.
The launch of the Vande Bharat train will make it simpler for individuals traveling between Patna and Nepal. Jogbani station is conveniently located near the border of India and Nepal, enabling easy access to the border by foot.
