Keonjhar, Odisha, witnessed a bold daylight robbery on Wednesday when a jewellery shop in Harichandanpur bazaar was targeted. The robbers, using firearms and machetes, fired shots to intimidate the employees and any witnesses. After creating a climate of fear, they seized gold ornaments and cash. Police responded swiftly, sealing off all escape routes and starting an intensive search to find the robbers. The investigation suggests the robbers fled to a nearby forest and the authorities are working hard to trace their whereabouts and make arrests.
